Sunnybrook is a peaceful 28 acre country retreat, tucked away on a back road in West Brookfield, MA with expansive lawns, hiking trails, a pond, rushing river and crabapple orchard to explore. Only 20 minutes to I90 and I84 in Sturbridge, 45 minutes to Wachusett Mountain, and minutes away from Rock House Reservation. With ample space to gather inside and out, great local breweries and wineries close by, Sunnybrook is the perfect place for family and friends, work gatherings, retreats and more.
Spacious Single Family Home
The house is a spacious single family home with common areas equipped for groups to gather, but also multiple nooks to escape to if you’re looking for some privacy or a workspace. The owner's apartment off the garage has it's own private entrance and no shared walls, she may occasionally stay there from time to time.
Introducing Gail Bruce
Let me introduce myself; I am a woman of experience and some notoriety. I was born Gail Hire in Chicago, raised on the beaches of California, educated at numerous institutions, and enriched by the exciting experiences of life: sports, cars, modeling, acting, design, marriage, painting, childbirth, non-profit development, and business. All of which contributed to who I am today and to how I will move into the future.
Life with Gusto
I live my life with gusto, and I love every minute of it. The three main topics covered; The good, the bad, and the ugly have all been parts of my life; each arrived to teach and to help me grow. For, I believe the reason we are born into this time and existence is to move our level of “consciousness” one step further to the next level.
Passionate Pursuits
Everything is a life lesson; everything is enriching. I was blessed to be born into a family that encouraged me to have fun with sports: surfing, tennis, golf, and even car racing — I enjoyed them all. But most importantly, these passionate pursuits left me with a love of exercise, fitness, and life.

The entire house, other than the basement storage area, garage, and owner’s apartment.
Other Things to Note
Check in is after 4:00 PM. Check out is at 11:00 AM.
All bedrooms come with an A/C after Memorial Day. The two bedrooms on the main floor have 1/2 baths attached, and there is a full bathroom on each floor as well. There are two twin pullout beds available for use, one in the living area by the fireplace, and one in the terrace office space. There are multiple dedicated workspaces throughout the home.
